This award is the highest honor an Idle Free dealer can achieve and was announced at a special dinner celebration, held in conjunction with the company’s North American dealer meeting.
This year’s North American dealer meeting, hosted by Idle Free CEO Robert Hopton, was held in Playa del Carmen, Mexico at the luxurious Royal Hideaway Playacar. The three‐day meeting consisted of team building events and 2014 planning meetings designed to help dealers increase their bottom line profits through peer learning, sharing best practices and access to industry experts. The agenda also included various outings such as a tour of the Mayan Ruins of Tulum, perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the only significant large scale Mayan ruin on the east coast.
The “North America Dealer of the Year” award recognizes the top Idle Free dealer that has excelled with superior sales, service and support of the Idle Free product line. Taking home this most prestigious award, Truck Country out of Dubuque, Iowa, was named the Idle Free North American Dealer of the Year for 2013.
