Eden Prairie, MN (February 13, 2018) – Phillips & Temro Industries (PTI) announced the availability of a new Truflo Hybrid Fan, increasing its range of hybrids to meet industry needs for air movement, HVAC, and engine and radiator cooling for off-road, agriculture and construction. Truflo Hybrid Fans feature injected molded individual polymer fan blades affixed to a corrosion resistant steel center hub.
Renowned for creating innovative and reliable fan products since 1962, Truflo’s hybrid fans are engineered using PTI’s proprietary, patent-pending angle adaptors that allow for complete configurability of blade angles in one-degree increments. The Truflo Hybrid Fan can meet customer specific requirements regarding noise, airflow, and energy efficiency.
With the launch of this Hybrid Fan, PTI has four Hybrid Fan models:
- HAS36
Has a minimum diameter of 11.8 in/300 mm and a maximum of 35.8 in/910 mm. It is available in 2 to 18 sickle blade counts, and 5 to 47 degree blade angles.
- HBS56
Has a minimum diameter of 19.6 in/500 mm and a maximum of 55.1 in/1400 mm. It is available in 2 to 16 sickle blade counts, and 6 to 44 degree blade angles.
- HAT42
Has a minimum diameter of 11.8 in/300 mm and a maximum of 41.7 in/1060 mm. It is available in 2 to 18 tapered blade counts, and 5 to 47 degree blade angles. - HBT65
Has a minimum diameter of 19.6 in/500 mm and a maximum of 64.9 in/1650 mm. It is available in 2 to 16 tapered blade counts, and 6 to 44 degree blade angles.
As with all Truflo fans, the Hybrid Fans are performance analyzed in the Truflo test laboratories, which includes the largest wind tunnel in Europe built to ISO 5801 (AMCA 210) standards. In verifying fan performance in the Truflo laboratories, PTI delivers the required accurate results for demanding real-world applications.
For those with custom needs, PTI’s Truflo Fan Selection Software can aid in the design/configuration of fans to meet exact needs. The program will generate a 3D CAD model for use in application design process.
