Eden Prairie, MN (August 2, 2019) – Phillips & Temro Industries (PTI) today announced its participation in the Heavy Duty Advanced Technology Council (HDATC), Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association’s (HDMA) newest council. HDMA is the commercial vehicle division of the Motor & Eqiuopment Manufacturers Association and the voice for the commercial vehicle supplier industry, and HDATC is a forum for the dicussion of advanced trends and issues impacting on- and off-highway heavy duty commercial vehicle applications.
PTI joins several top technology executives from HDMA member companies to expand and share knowledge regarding current and future technologies, keep pace with the newest industry developments, and forecast advanced technologies to help distinguish between reality and hype.
HDATC members will meet twice a year to discuss a range of topics affecting the industry such as advanced driver-assistance systems, automation, connectivity, electrification and telematics. During the meetings, members will meet with OEM and technology experts, network with likeminded peers, gain market insights and technology forecasts as they discuss regulatory and legislative issues, and work to overcome operational challenges.
HDATC will meet twice annually with its first meeting this September in Southfield, MI.
