Eden Prairie, MINN (Dec 16, 2015) – Phillips & Temro Industries (“PTI”), a leading global supplier of thermal systems and solutions, today announced that the company has named Thomas M. Moser as President, effective immediately. Moser succeeds Harry R. “Butch” Sumpter, who has been with PTI since 2006.
The appointment follows a planned transition and the completion of a formal search process conducted by a leading executive search firm.

Moser joins PTI with over 25 years of experience with Emerson Process Management, the global leader in measurement and analytical instrumentation for the process industries. Most recently, Moser was Group Vice President of its Rosemount Measurement and Analytical business. Previously, he served in various senior leadership roles as well as general management roles in Europe and Asia. Over the course of his successful career, his functional responsibilities have included design engineering, sales and marketing, global operations and business development. Earlier in his career Moser served in various technical positions at IBM and Boise Cascade.
A local resident, Moser earned a B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota. He continued his education with an MBA from Duke University.
